ALL CONSULTATIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

ROUTINE APPOINTMENTS

To see a doctor of your choice it is advisable to ring in advance.  Routine appointments can be made up to 4 weeks ahead. 

URGENT APPOINTMENTS

Where appropriate, urgent appointments will be offered with the Duty Doctor for that day.

EMERGENCIES

Please give full details to the receptionist and she will contact the Duty Doctor accordingly. If for any reason you are unable to contact the surgery or Doctor and the emergency persists, please ring 999 without delay.

Telephone Contact with a Doctor or Nurse

To speak to your Doctor or Nurse on the telephone please ring the surgery on the main surgery number and let the receptionist know you wish to speak with your Doctor or Nurse.

The receptionist will let you know if the Doctor is available or whether they will call you back.

Please call in to the surgery or ring after 2pm to enquire about your test results as our reception staff will have more time to deal with your request between these times.

Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.

When you take your test you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice.

It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if your are advised to do so.
